This one‑of‑a‑kind vessel is inspired by the movement of wind across the surface of a lake — the way ripples gather, stretch and shift in changing light. Its form carries a gentle sense of motion, with an undulating rim that feels as though it has been shaped by the same natural forces that inspired it.
Made from a clay body rich in melting minerals, the surface reveals dark speckles of varying sizes and tones beneath the glaze. The interior is finished in a deep, luminous blue, with the undulating rim highlighted by fine stripes of the same colour that trace the form and emphasise its movement. The underside of the flared base is coated in a clear gloss that allows the warmth of the clay to show through, punctuated by a repeated pattern of deep blue dots that encircle the base.
